KindyWords was born out of the necessity to provide children with the tools they need to excel in writing and spelling. Inspired by Elon Musk’s visionary approach at SpaceX, we adopted his philosophy that “When something is important enough, you do it even if the odds are not in your favour”. This motivation led to the creation of KindyWords, a platform dedicated to helping children improve their writing skills.
The idea took shape while helping two young children, aged 6-9, who were struggling with spelling and writing. Witnessing their challenges firsthand highlighted the need for a personalized and supportive educational tool. Our approach combines innovative technology with effective teaching methods to make learning engaging and effective for young minds.
KindyWords is built upon the foundation of Andrew Ng’s deeplearning.ai free training course. This course provided the technical backbone for our platform, enabling us to integrate advanced AI to tailor the learning experience for each child. By leveraging AI, we can provide immediate feedback and personalized guidance, ensuring that every child receives the support they need to improve their writing skills.
